This is another bloody sexy issue for us, more bloody than usual actually. When we were planning the release party for this issue the moons aligned and the date fell on Friday the 13th. So we drew the goats blood pentagram on the floor of Spank HQ and let our crew run with it. Jason Rodgers and Escandalo collaborated to create an amazing and disturbing set of photos for one cover and new Spank fave Nolan Hendrickson graces the back cover with one of his gorge party monsters.There’s lots more inside including round two (you may have seen some in our SEX issue) of dirty arty polaroids from the amazing Donatien Veismann, Carter Smith, Bruce LaBruce, JoJo Americo, and fashion by downtown darling One-Half Nelson photographed by Dex Star G. When word spread that Flloyd was going to be doing a show at SPANK’s loft party, everyone who had seen Flloyd before got excited. Everyone who hadn’t seen Flloyd before soon understood why. We were so happy to have him and this amazing show. Stay tuned for drawings by Flloyd in the next issue of Spank Zine!

It’s a great one with gore-gous contributions from the always bloody-amazing Bruce La Bruce, witchy Escandalo, and the talented Carter Smith. Show up early to make sure you get a copy, and (as always) all the money from this party goes toward the printing costs of the Zine. Super talented photographer and two time Spank contributor Donatien Veismann has an opening in NYC. In case you missed his hot polaroids in our SEX issue, we’ve included him in Issue 12 -release party Friday (if you’ve somehow managed to miss that fact) so make sure to show up to get a copy.

Escandalo’s song “La Bruja” came out yesterday with the full moon. They are also the cover stars for the next issue of Spank, which comes out Friday at our loft party! The photos were taken by one of our faves Jason Rodgers. RSVP details for the party Friday below. 
“La Bruja” was produced by Automagic. Automagic’s Bryan Wright plays an opening set at Friday’s party and Automagic’s DJ Will will be doing DJ sets throughout the night. The video was directed by Bec Stupac with Jason Cacioppo as DP. It stars Desi Monster, Viva Ruiz, Trip and Princess Xtravaganza. CHECK IT:

The Friday the 13th Issue Release / Loft Party countdown continues with today’s featured zine contributor: One-Half Nelson.
We got word that “Nelson sees Spank,” so the time was right for the first of what we are sure will be many collaborations. Nelson art directed a photo shoot staring himself and Ericka Toure Aviance photographed by Dex Star G for Spank, but that’s all we’ll say for now, you have to wait and see it for yourself!!
