Lots to see and do before you head home to see the fam for Christmas…

It sounds like a blast (as always with Justin) with Pixie Harlots throwing in a a few snazzy holiday numbers. Buy tickets before they sell out!

Rob Roth also gave us a heads up that ‘THE MYSTERY OF CLAYWOMAN’  is returning to THE WILD PROJECT December 4 – 14, 2008 Thursday – Sunday. Get tickets here.

For thousands of years, there has been a raging debate concerning the validity of the Claywoman Hypothesis. After two successful screenings – at Deitch Projects and the New Museum of Contemporary Art – the documentary which challenges the myths surrounding this mystifying character, entitled “The Mystery of Claywoman,” is back by popular demand.
The documentary, documenting an unfinished expose that was discovered among the rubble of a condemned low-income housing unit in lower Manhattan will be shown at The Wild Project in NYC from Thursday, December 4th to Sunday, December 14th. It is a rare opportunity to witness first hand never before seen interviews with both Claywoman devotees and skeptics – including a scientist who thinks the whole idea is ludicrous, an old woman who has been waiting for Claywoman for 30 years, two French feminist intellectuals who have written a book on the topic, and many others who claim to actually know Claywoman personally – culminating in an informative account that gives audiences a chance to decide for themselves if this age old story is myth or truth.
Additionally, there are whispers that Claywoman herself will be in attendance – whether she will appear, ready to dispel the myths and showcase the truths to her legacy is anyone’s guess, but regardless, this promises to be an eye opening evening for all.
