This issue includes a word association with Jordan Fox, who recently turned us out at SPANK ACTIONS. The massively influential photographer Danielle Levitt (hello Sport Goth!) and adorable stylist Joey Falcone collaborated with some of Spank’s favorite performers and personalities brought our vision to life on the cover and for eight luscious pages inside. Speaking of style, we can hardly believe it’s late summer already. We’re still clinging to our short shorts but check out Richard Haines illustrated fashion story styled by Darren Kinoshita for a few hot looks to take you through fall. And speaking of hot we couldn’t be happier to share some of the hottest paintings we have seen in a minute by our buddy Naruki Kukita, while the lovely and talented Peter Stanglmayr reveals a beautiful creature in his photo story, Edo. Everyone’s favorite gay man is strangely a Lesbian named Jools. We love this girl and her DJing, she is photographed for us by the amazing duo Walker Brockington & Fernando Lahoz.

If you are in NYC, it’s hard to miss Big Scott, he is a fixture at the door of the best East Village bars. It’s a pleasure to present his dark and striking series of watercolors.  The issue concludes with three amazing stories that channel the animal instinct: We were thrilled to work with Mike Albo, Charlie VaZquezand Max Steele.

  1. […] And last but not least I have a new story published in SPANK Issue 16, about a little boy in Puerto Rico who collects dead lizards. Should you want to find out why, you’ll have to read it yourself! Plus, the guys at SPANK have been tremendously supportive and their magazine is way hot and cute at the same time. Check that out here: https://spankzine.wordpress.com/2010/08/03/buy-spank-issue-16/ […]
