Despite having to transform the nature of our event last Friday after we were “interrupted” (sorry to those who arrived after and were confused!), we had an amazing time during the dance section of the night and the “quiet party” after. Those who trusted the magic and stayed caught Ana Matronic’s amazing performance (F to F drag lipsynch) as well as a gang SPANKing of birthday boy Patrick Christ. Special thanks to Muffinhead!! Our next loft party will be in December in Brooklyn, so it won’t be “interrupted.” For now, we share precious moments from last Friday thru the medium of video:

We are so proud of SPANK prodigy Matthew Lebaron. We’ve always been thrilled that he graces the pages of SPANK with his magic illustrations, so we want to share with everyone his work out in the rest of the big world. (See his Jasper James album in the previous post as well!!)
On his Birthday (Happy Bday Matthew!) we share with you his illustration of Kylie Minogue for the cover of Next Magazine. Everyone was talking about this at the club last night. UM Wow! (Attn: Kylie’s people: Matthew does next album cover Ok??!! Like that’s a no-brainer, seriously…)
Our first remix is out now. It’s a italo inspired slow burner with a dubby bass that is dancefloor-tested and Spank Loft Party Approved.
