“Seduction, Queer Visions of Masculinity” Opening Tomorrow 4/28

Spank LOVES a good art opening and we’ve been told tomorrow night’s debut of Seduction, Queer Visions of Masculinity at P.J.S. Exhibitions is gonna be a good one.

Exploring illusory attraction through the eyes of some of New York City’s most accomplished and gay artistic talents on the erotic art scene today, Seduction showcases over 25 artists including Robert Richards, Michael Alago, Kim Hanson, Miguel Dominguez and Glen Hilario. The exhibition’s nearly 100 works of art (drawings, photographs and paintings) provide a window into its creator’s vision of sexuality.
Presented partnership with The Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual & Transgender Center and curated by Harvey Redding, Seduction, Queer Visions of Masculinity is an art exhibition and benefit for the LGBT Community Center.

Man of a thousand looks XANDER was the essential choice to host this blacklight immersion event. He typically has at least one element of his outfit that requires a battery —but more often most of his look is somehow electric. Two weeks ago DJing at Clubber Down Disco when the lighting system crashed midway through the night XANDER saved the day with several strobing (and surprisingly powerful) bracelets. We’ll admit we’re under the spell of Midnight Magic, their hit from 2010 “Beam Me Up” is still being rocked at all the major spots in London and frankly it’s got us in a disco induced trance.
